What is the Gold Blue & You faculty and staff campus campaign?
The Gold Blue & You faculty and staff campaign is an annual fundraising effort that provides faculty and staff an opportunity to directly impact West Virginia University through charitable donations.
How does the faculty and staff campus campaign differ from the United Way campaign?
The gift you make during the Gold Blue & You faculty and staff campaign stays right here at WVU and benefits our students and programs. The United Way is a worthy cause which supports the needs of the greater Morgantown area.
Can I give to any WVU department?
Yes, we have a list of special funds that you may be interested in supporting, but you may make a gift to any school, college or program that is important to you.
Why should we give to the organization that pays our salary?
Most of us support causes we believe in — our places of worship, health care and medical research organizations, the arts, and other worthy causes. As you become more involved with WVU and develop a belief in the mission of the University, your financial support is another way to make a difference.
What is A State of Minds: The Campaign for West Virginia’s University and how does it relate to the Gold Blue & You faculty and staff campus campaign?

Yes, as allowed by law during the calendar year in which the gift is made.
Scholarship Fund for Children of Classified Staff
The beneficiaries of this fund are children of WVU classified staff. They are awarded scholarships based on financial need and academic achievement.
WVU Faculty-Staff Emergency Relief Fund
This fund was developed to benefit anyone in the University community who, because of disaster such as a fire, may need immediate assistance.
WVU Student Food Pantry
"The Rack" is a food bank that allows WVU students who are experiencing financial difficulty a means to obtain food. Students sometimes hide behind hunger in order to satisfy off-campus living expenses, tuition, books, class project materials etc. Students now have an option to obtain food that is ready to eat or takes little time to prepare at no cost.
The House That WVU Built
West Virginia University students are partnering with Mon County Habitat for Humanity in an effort to fund and construct a home for a family in our community. WVU Faculty and Staff can help by making a gift to support this important initiative.
Gifts and pledges may be directed to any college, unit, school or department. Please see the Faculty and Staff Gift Form for a list of funds or make a gift online.
