Scholarship Fund for Children of Classified Staff

The beneficiaries of this fund are children of WVU classified staff. They are awarded scholarships based on financial need and academic achievement.
 

WVU Faculty-Staff Emergency Relief Fund

This fund was developed to benefit anyone in the University community who, because of a disaster such as a fire, may need immediate assistance.
 

The WVU Student Food Pantry

“The Rack” is a food bank that allows WVU students who are experiencing financial difficulty a means to obtain food. Students sometimes hide behind hunger in order to satisfy off-campus living expenses, tuition, books, class project materials, etc. Students now have an option to obtain food that is ready-to-eat or takes little time to prepare at no cost.
 

Health Sciences Student Assistance Fund

This fund was created to provide assistance to Health Sciences students in their last two years of their selected major for situations that may preclude them from graduating such as, not qualifying for additional financial aid to pay for books, transportation passes, rent, food or other needs.
 

WVU Cancer Institute- Soup For the Soul Fund

Gifts to this fund in honor and memory of Ron Meredith, a local pharmacist, enable the Cancer Institute to provide free lunches for patients while they are undergoing treatment in the infusion center.
 

The Rosenbaum Family House Fund

This fund is used for operational and programmatic support of the Rosenbaum Family House. Family house allows families of patients with a serious illness or injury and sometimes patients themselves to stay close during treatment. No one is turned away regardless of their ability to pay.
 

WVU Medicine Children’s- WVU Children’s Compassion, Caring and Comfort Fund

This fund was established to assist the families of any patient receiving treatment at Children’s with short-term assistance when other appropriate community, state, or national resources are not available or until they can be linked to those resources.
 

Fund for Graduate Education and Life (2V515 -- Grad Ed)

Your gift will launch creation of a discretionary fund supporting WVU graduate students, helping them meet pressing, immediate needs and enabling them to better meet the rigors of their professional course. Please earmark your gift "Grad Ed"!

    Non–endowed fund to provide unexpected support or where the need is the greatest in the School of Medicine.
  • Dean’s Annual Scholarship Fund (#2S354)
    Annual scholarship support to this fund provides immediate support to our students to help defray their debt upon graduation.
  • General Departmental Support
    The School of Medicine has over 20 departments- each supporting the mission of the school- to provide teaching, research and service to the state and beyond. Please contact the HSC Office of Development to find a fund specific to your department and area of interest in giving.

    Gifts to this fund provide vital scholarship support to students in need, helping to cover the cost of tuition, fees and other educational expenses.

    Provides support to students, faculty, and staff for activities and initiatives that strengthen and enhance our mission. Fund for Pharmacy gifts provide the Dean invaluable flexibility in directing funds to where the need is the greatest and allows the School to seize opportunities that offer exceptional educational value.
