Giving to Student Affairs
West Virginia University Student Affairs provides programs, services and resources to help students learn and grow outside of the classroom. The Student Affairs Division supports West Virginia University’s student-centered learning environment, fosters student development, and in partnership with our University colleagues, offers students the opportunity to enhance intellectual, cultural, social, emotional and physical development.
Each student’s needs and background are different, and WVU Student Affairs is composed of 30 departments dedicated to helping all students achieve success. Student Affairs is involved in all aspects of a student’s life including health and wellness, diversity, global outreach, housing, dining, recreation, student activities, retention, and social and career development. The ultimate goal is to help prepare students for their chosen career, to be contributing members of a diverse global society, and to enhance student leadership skills.
