COMMUNICATIONS INTERN
WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION, INC.

The West Virginia University Foundation has two paid internships available for summer 2020 and the 2020-2021 academic year. The interns must be West Virginia University students who can work 15-20 hours per week this summer and 10-15 hours per week during the academic year. We will work around class schedules.

The interns will assist with the communications and marketing efforts of the Foundation. This includes, but is not limited to, writing news releases and articles for media, newsletters and other publications; writing for the Web; assisting with internal communications; and helping with content development, design and layout for electronic communication, social/digital media and advertisements.

Strong writing skills are a must. Knowledge of digital photography, video and design software is a plus.
